Nopalea Reviews – Miracle Cactus Juice Discussed

Nopalea, the great tasting drink formed from the Nopal cactus, has been getting a lot of attention lately because of its numerous advertised health benefits. Not only does it have a great flavor, it is a mixture of both health enhancing and nutritional compounds. The healing properties found in this drink have been relied upon for many years by native people and dates back to the Pima Indians who resided in the Sonoran Desert. It is known to aid in fighting off toxins surrounding the body’s cells; when cells are toxin-free and healthy, the entire body is able to function at its best. This flavorful drink is now sold around the world and there are thousands of users who have experienced great benefits from its use.

One of the most important ingredients taken from Nopalea is the juice extracted from the Nopal cactus plant, which is rich in both anti-inflammatory and antioxidant components. The Nopal cactus fruit originates from the Sonoran Desert, where it is grown and then eventually added to the drink. For its delicious flavor, Agave nectar, nutrients and fruit extracts are also added. Agave nectar is natural and easier for the body to process and absorb than today’s traditional sugar-based sweetening products. The fruit extracts, including strawberry, raspberry, cranberry, mango, apricot, and are all natural and processed carefully.

Nopalea, sourced from the Nopal cactus, contains rare but very strong antioxidants called Bioflavanoids. These are found in only a few plants throughout the world, were once believed to be the pigments that gave the Nopal cactus its color but have since proven their rarity and strength. Bioflavanoids help the body to fight off toxins and rehydrate cells and well as lower inflammation risk, which is a main forerunner of many weakening diseases such as obesity, arthritis, cancer, diabetes and Alzheimers. Though, said to be a rare antioxidant, Bioflavanoids can be found in great concentrations in the Nopal cactus.

Claims

Daily use aids the body to

  • ~reduce inflammation
  • ~attain optimal cellular health
  • ~cleanse itself of daily toxins
  • ~fight premature aging
  • ~aid in digestion
  • ~regulate the heartbeat
  • ~protect cellular membranes and eyes
  • ~improve glucose tolerance

nopalea-cell-diagram

Bioflavanoids inhibit a pro-inflammation enzyme called cyclooxygenase enzymes that does help counter inflammation but you would have to drink quite a bit of this stuff for it to actually reduce your inflammation noticeably. While it may act differently for certain people, some better than others, if you can afford the cost and are suffering with inflammation then there is no reason not to substitute this cactus juice with your usually morning or lunch drink.

Nopalea is not sold in stores but it can be directly ordered and bought through TriVita (the drink’s formulator) and/or TriVita Affiliate Members. Once purchased it is delivered right to your door. It can be bought as individual bottles or by the case: one bottle sells for $39.99 and all purchases are sold with a 60 day money back guarantee.

The recommended dosage for one person is three ounces taken on an empty stomach, two times a day. One purchased bottle typically lasts five days and from then on two ounces can be taken two times a day as what is called a “maintenance” dose. This will allow a 4-pack to last for a month for one user. To date, there have been 287 scientific papers published on its benefits and attributes, all of which can be found in peer-reviewed journals of the highest quality.

Nopalea Benefits

  • -Anti-inflammatory properties- This drink reduces inflammation or targets the parts of your body that are inflamed and reduces them. During this process your cellular make up is rebalanced as the toxins found in your body are warded off.
  • -Protects against toxins – The bio-flavanoid or Betalin found in the nopal cactus plant serves as a protection agent against diseases which are caused by toxins while protecting the body’s cell.
  • -Detoxification – Due to the different agents that we are exposed to every day such as the food we eat, the air we breathe and the water we drink our bodies are constantly exposed to toxins. With the use of Nopalea we can fight off these toxins and maintain healthy bodies.
  • -Fights against premature aging- No one likes to look old before their time and using can help in this area as it fills the gaps to repair the damaged areas of the skin’s protective layer.
  • -Fluid retention – There are fluids around your cells which are held off and reduces inflammation as well as rebalances cellular activity once you start taking this drink.
  • -Pain reliever – because of its bio-flavanoid reduces somatic as well as visceral pains.
  • -Improves breathing – breathing difficulties can be improved which are caused by allergies or asthma.

Nopalea Side Effects

Before taking any kind of supplements you should consult your physician for further information on how the product may affect your health. There isn’t any negative side effect that is connected with the Nopalea health drink. There have been a lot of mixed reviews and testimonies so far have which you can read below. From the looks of it Nopalea seems to be just what it claims to be healthy, nutritious and delicious but with a big price tag. If you think it’s just a scam, feel free to discuss with the comments below.

I don’t read anything about cleanses. I heard a man tell about his sister who died from a stomach illness. Her/his doctor told him he had the same stomach problem and would probably die from it. He got involved in cleansing four times a year and after that his stomach problem went way. He said it was important to have a bowel movemen more than once a day. After he did the cleans he was having more than one bowel movement eah day. He believed this helped clean out the bad toxins from his body. My wife and I use Symmetry cleanse prducts. They are inexpensive naturl and work well. Also, something that happened to me was at 74 ys I developed hemorrihoids.Very painful. My Doctor recommended surgery andI declined. I was really worried. I checked out the intrnet and everyone seemed to have no reults even from the surgery. A friend said try white vinegar, two tablespoons each day mixed with juice.Walah it did the job. I am cured after only a few days. This is the first time I have seen this web site but I am thankful for all the coments, they give a lot of good ideas to many of us looking for natural cures.Doctors don’t now evrything but we would be in big trouble without them. My thanks to all the Doctors that are there when we need them.

My son tore his acl and had a tore a large tear in his meniscus his senior year of football 2012, 2 weeks after his injury he started drinking nopalea and after 9 ounces of nopalea he was able to get his full range of motion back in his injured leg and with a brace for his knee his doctor released him to finish out playing football his senior year. He was center on offense and left tackle on defense and he was a step slower due to the brace but he played through the second rounds of the West Virginia AA playoffs before they lost out. Without this product to get rid of the inflamation he would have never gotten back his range of motion to be released to finish his senior year. In addition he was named first team all-state offensive lineman. Everyone in my house hold are BIG believers in this product. He has since had surgery to correct his injuries and he still drinks a couple of ounces of nopalea everyday. We love this product.

I am getting that you all think it is expensive and everyone should eat right but sometime eating right is just the beginning. I am training for an Ironman and had a lot of leg pain and inflammation. I used aleve as my Dr. recommended but I did not want to stay on that for very long. After two weeks, my inflammation is almost gone. YES it may be pricey but that is because sometimes that’s what it takes to make, manufacture and distribute a natural product. I am VERY happy so far with the results and will continue to use it if what I am feeling continues.

it all sounds good when they advertise the product; but just drinking 6 oz. a day, you can roughly go thru that 30 oz. bottle in a month. 40 bucks a bottle is a little too steep for most people. not everyone can afford this price. to me, companies like this “rip” people off by charging way too much for a ‘natural’ product. if they REALLY wanted to help people, they would not be breaking peoples pocket books. sorry folks, gotta pass on this one.

that’s right the real cures are dirt cheap; apple cidar vinegar and various spices are about $1 a month, too cheap to be promoted and the doctors have never heard of them (or if they did they will scoff at them); they get 1 hour of nutritional trianing after 10 years of medical school; that’s just time for fruits and veggies! If you question a doctor they will usually show you the door and tell you to find another doctor; so I did, I went to doctoryourself.com, I’ll take the PhD’s advice and it works!

I agree…somewhat. I really cant afford it! BUT. I want to try it. Someone made a good point a review a couple above yours….its expensive to make natural products, and ones that actually work….I mean if this does what it CLAIMS to do….then actually…..its super cheap for what it would do for you. Someone that has a life dibilitating diseases, etc. that affects their quality of life, and this could give them their life back (for example). I mean, I dont have insurance, so this would actually be just the same price as my one prescription! BUT…its a gamble, and when you are as poverty stricken as me…its very hard to make that gamble, and risk it not working. SO, wish you could get like a money back garuntee or something. =)

Here’s a quote from earthclinic.com- “So, just taking two tablespoons of ACV with 1/2 tspn sodium bicarbonate [baking soda] in half a glass of water three times a day with split doses of between 300-600 mgs magnesium per day is actually very beneficial against Fibromyalgia.”
DMSO is an external application that is outlawed as a medicine (so your doctor will not allow it), try castor oil packs. If you’re under doctors’ care tell them you want to try low dose naltrexone and not the usual high priced drugs with all of their side effects. Mega vitamin C is also good for pain, find your balance.

I don’t know about all the other but someone told me about this who suffered from Migraines as I do. It cost the same as buying all the medications that the doctor perscribes for me so I had nothing to loose. It did cut my migraines back to a minimal amount in a month. And even with the bad weather we had this past week I only got one. I’m not made of money but I will probably keep using this cause it did help with my migraines. I have even cut back on my chiropractor visits and now wont have to pay a neurologist and take all these medications that are probably messing up my system in the long run. Didn’t know if this was a scam but it did work for me.

    • For the migraine issues, one of the causes is not being hydrated enough. On Dr Oz they just had Linda (?) so sorry can’t remember her last name) that has come up with an overall body hydrating exercise with soft balls called the M.E.L.T Method. If you go on-line and look up meltmethod.com this can explain what she has created. It is used for ANY type of pain your body (physically) may be having. It takes minutes a day and to do this. I have purchased it and I DO recommend it.

Refer to doctoryourself.com, there are some potential quick fixes- Immediately try B100 complex with each meal, they’re at the drugstore and in fact everyone should take at least 1, it is the number one vitamin shortage for chronic disease and pain and anxiety. Next you should titrate to vitamin C capacity (i.e. fill in your undoubted deficiency, humans are 1 of the few animals that do not make their own!). You could take 4 chewables an hour the 1st day (all day) to monitor results up to bowel capacity (not all at once and not hard pills they don’t absorb). C crystals at the health food store are usually cheaper and better, such as 1/2 teaspoon an hour, I take mine for allergies or colds in a mouthful of milk to buffer. For your liver try Milk Thistle (I take a cup of coffee) in case you need multiple B’s a day (e.g. 500 mg can be hard on the liver). This could be a long difficult process that takes some weeks. In the meantime you could try castor oil packs on your sore spots for an hour. At earthclinic.com you can also find good reports for acupressure mats. You may not have arthritis but it’s worth trying apple cidar vinegar (which cured me) both internally (e.g. 2 tablespoons in a glass of water with a dab of honey and teaspoon of baking soda) and externally (e.g. a 1/2 cup in your bath); those with pain often prefer organic (the best honey is raw with bee venom!). You could also try the spice Tumeric at the grocery and also the vitamin MSM 1000mg.. If all that fails you could order some DMSO and rub it on the sore spots (also a cancer cure they don’t want you to know about, with a protocol) but it costs more and you have to be careful, it takes anything on your skin into your blood stream, so don’t put colored cloth on it or bug spray or cosmetics etc, let it dry thoroughly. It’s banned in Canada because they don’t think the masses can handle it (but can be imported). If things start working it’s important to get off the drugs before it’s too late! Your system needs alot of cleansing, try green tea. Good luck!

Glenn: Why do you add the baking soda to your ACV drink ? I have read that the ACV also makes your body fluids more acidic, which discourages bacterial infections. I am curious why you neutralize the acidity of the ACV with the baking soda. Thanks

        • Glenn says:

You may be surprised how complicated your question is my friend; I would never have cared except I found out the right answers work and effectively cured me. What you have read (as have I) confuses the fact ACV is acidic BUT is converted by the body to alkaline, this is easily proven by pH blood tests. In addition this is a correct quote at smartbodyz.com – ”Most bacteria virtually hate alkalinity. They flourish in our acid bodies” and this quote by a Dr Benkim – “Your blood (plasma) needs to maintain a pH of 7.35 to 7.45 for your cells to function properly. Why your cells require your blood to maintain a pH in this range to stay healthy is beyond the scope of this article, but the most important reason is that all of the proteins that work in your body have to maintain a specific geometric shape to function, and the three-dimensional shapes of the proteins in your body are affected by the tiniest changes in the pH of your body fluids.” Now our modern diets are generally highly acidic and throw out the balance of omega 6 to 3 fatty acids from 3 to 1 to often 20 to 1, this is too much inflammation. Omega 6 fights disease but when our autoimmune malfunctions it turns on the body itself as if it was foreign invader. This is why omega 3 supplements can bring them back in balance, I take hemps seeds and they work but I don’t like overdosing on any 1 solution so next is ACV and why it works and what’s up with baking soda (which is not necessary but see below).

Because ACV is acidic and can cause acid reflux (and did when I tried the pill form); honey is a natural antacid acid and marginally alkaline (at least if raw) and baking soda is very alkaline, so by the time my drink hits my stomach it’s already alkaline without using up the body’s resources (see below). The key is the bad bacteria (like beta streptococci) that is supposed to be trapped by the colon and not go to the stomach, but some of us have ‘leaky guts’ with malabsorption and then can get psoriasis/RA/Celiacs etc (most autoimmune disease) without a very alkaline diet (and by the time we find out diet is usually too little too late) cannot survive in an alkaline environment as noted. I found the honey was enough and so likely would be the baking soda but the honey sweetens up the drink (there is also honey with bee pollen for joints alone especially MS and also spices like turmeric) and the baking soda protects the enamel of the teeth. So my drink is a glass of water with 2 tablespoons of ACV, a teaspoon of honey and a 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and a few pinches of some spices, in my just once a day as I am heaeled. Here’s a more technical comment by a nutritionist at earthclinic.com- “So, by neutralizing these acid forms with bicarbonates first you save the necessity of using up your own body’s important bicarbonate store(from digestion) which helps to further alkalize your body.” There is also some other comment about ACV alkalizing the blood whereas baking soda alkalizes the cells. So an acidic body is a sick body (or soon to be!). Lot’s of chemistry eh? [Too bad we don't learn it in school!]

Hi Kira! I have chronic back pain and a couple of other complications. I take exactly 200 tablets a week including opiates and nerve blockers to reduce the pain. However, I am still in constant pain, that can vary day to day from moderate to severe. It has been 2 1/2 years and am due for another round of physical rebah.
However, the medication side effects were getting me down also. I visited 5 naturopaths and due to the medication mix including opiates and dther strong meds they would not add herbal medicine into the mix. Until the 5th one that is, the difference is he is also a GP, so has knowledge on both sides of eastern and western medicine. He has applied some acupuncture, and also mixed up a batch of herbal tea that within hours stopped my unquenchable thirst, where I was drinking 5+liters of water a day. I had put on a heap of weight yet was only eating soft foods like yoghurt and cereals. I now have a hunger for real food, and have after 4 weeks lost some weight, but the best thing is I stopped putting it on. My circulation has boosted as has my concentration (a little).
I Did want to look at this juice to see if it could help with the back pain, as the herbs have to this stage ny helped reduce the symptoms of medication and increased my blood flow, as I have feeling in my hands and feet now.
My pain is in The same areas as you and I also get back spasms.
It is early days and I still I have the bigger plan to do rehab to strengthen my back, the get of the medication, it is a longish process, but having reduced some of the symptoms with the herbs, I already feel as if I am moving forward not backwards. The herbs have made a real difference to my life.
I live in Melbourne, but if you look for a Natapath with east/west medicine knowledge that would be my suggestion.
Chronic pain can be all consuming and didctate your life but keep positive thinking abut the future and how you will get better some day. And dont stop until you can find someone who can help you. Good luck

Will always have “some” amount of pain, but at least now I can work again, exercise and enjoy life. I also drink a ton of water, as I used to be dehydrated, which probably led to me tearing a disc in my back.

Most people get it in their 70′s but It happened to me in my 40′s. I used prednisone which acted like a miracle drug for me It was the ONLY thing that took pain away. But it has side affects. I arrived at this site looking for solutions to a wrist injury. Reducing inflammation sounds like a logical goal. I have no experience with this approach. I do however have a multitude of experience with painful backs. I was is a multiple roll over accident at 70 mph in 2008. I lived through it because I had a roll bar on my vehicle, I instinctually let my body relax rather than tense up, and a lot of luck. My spine had numerous injuries. The pain was so bad I could not get off the floor.I have recovered from maybe 85% of the injuries using an inversion table,Pilates ball and Network Chiropractic,No surgery or drugs. Your body has an amazing ability to heal itself. It does however need your help. I feel your pain, good luck and try to avoid Western Medicine as much as possible.

In a typical tall glass, pour a quarter inch of apple cider vinegar, add a small amount of honey and fill the glass with either distilled or filtered water. Stir and drink on an empty stomach. Honey is not easy to stir up, so you might put the honey and a bit of water in the glass first, nuke it for 30 seconds in a small glass or other container, then add it to the glass, add the cider vinegar, fill up with cool water and drink. It will stir well that way. White vinegar can irritate and/or dry your throat – even though this is a small amount, don’t drink it.

It is apple cidar vinegar that can cure inflammation, not white, check the internet, it converts acid blood from our modern diet of processed foods to more alkaline. I found Heinz processed works but you can pay more for organic if you want. Try a tablespoon in a glass of water with a dab of liquid honey (e.g. raw) and let it melt. If you add a 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda it will protect your teeth. Depending on your condition you could take anywhere from 1 to 3X a day. [It's also a cure for migrains, celiac, colitis etc] Also take B3 niacinamide and if you’re not getting enough omega 3 try hemp seeds (pills are useless) and if you’ve got a swollen joint try castor oil packs. These are the cheapest and best products you will ever find and so they are never advertised. If you want to pay over 10 times that for some stupid ripoff product with diluted solutions (like most homeopathic) it’s up to you but I am effectively cured. Good luck!

It looks brown and cloudy, best way to drink it take a table spoon of organic apple cider vinegar with a tablespoon of natural honey mix it and drink or you can take a tablespoon of apple cider and mix it with eight ounces of water. The honey is the best to me because honey also is a natural energy booster and also has lots of health benefits.

Pat, I suffered for 8 years with chronic back pain until I discovered what was causing such terrible inflammation. It was dairy. I stopped all dairy – milk, cheese, ice cream, yogurt, whey, etc. and I am 100% better. I’ve been dairy free for over a year. It’s the animal protein, casein, that is in dairy that causes lots of inflammation in people. Cheese is the worse because it’s concentrated casein. I noticed a change in 3 days. You could give it a try, but you have to go cold turkey. Don’t forget, it’s the Dairy Association that says we NEED milk. So untrue. Good luck.

But some of us were just made to be fresh fruit and vegetables eaters so dont be afraid to admit your grandson needs a different diet than your used to. Someone here also recommended Aloe Vera juice. I know it to reduce inflammation caused by acids (toxins) in the bloodstream much like it does with external burns so I dont know if that would help with his condition. Betty, I have seen Market America’s Aloe Juice heal Crohn’s disease. When a friend of mine had cancer, her Crohn’s flared terribly and nothing the doctors gave her was helping. Her face got all puffed up from the steriods, and it really bothered her. I had her take one capful of the aloe juice once a day, and she had improvement within 24 hours. She called me about a month later, all excited, and said “I’m eating spaghetti, I’m eating spaghetti!” I said what do you mean, you’re eating spaghetti? She told me she hadn’t been able to eat spaghetti for years because of the Crohn’s, and added that she was also eating salad for the first time in ages. Her energy level also increased dramatically after starting the aloe juice, and she was able to go holiday shopping for her friends and family one last time before she died. Even though she lost her battle with cancer, the aloe juice helped to greatly improve the quality of her life those last few months, and that meant a lot to me and her family. I don’t sell Market America products anymore (I gave the aloe juice to my friend), but I still use some of their products because they had life-changing effects for me and others. If you try another aloe juice and it doesn’t work, be sure to try Market America’s before you give up. The strawberry-kiwi flavor is very tasty. It may also take more than one capful, which is less than the recommended dose of 2 oz. The cost is $26.00 per bottle, which lasts 16 days at 2 oz per day, but you could try one ounce per day first to see if that’s enough, and then the bottle will last about a month. Some people are allergic to aloe juice, so if your grandson hasn’t tried it before, be sure they have benadryl in the house and watch closely for signs of an allergic reaction the first time he takes it. I hope this helps.

    Hi Everyone
I really appreciate all your helpful comments. I will be trying beet juice first. In the 70′s we used to do a beet/olive oil/lemon juice liver flush. It was so strong you had to sit down before you drank it, because you started to feel you might pass out.

But I do want to say, some things are only good diluted. More is not necessarily better. 90% water may be exactly the best ratio, not at all indicating an inferior product. We just don’t know, so I for one will reserve judgment.

However, it might be less expensive to have directions for us to mix a concentrate with juice or water, so we don’t have to pay to ship a heavy bottle, and can adjust to our own sweetness level desired.

May we all restore our health. May we all, esp those few angry writers, find inner peace. Cari

If it doesn’t work then send it back for a refund. A lot of these companies bank on the fact that a lot of people do NOT send the goods back for a refund even if it doesn’t work for them. It only takes a small amount of effort to return a product for a refund and all you have lost is a bit of postage. Never give up trying!

He may be right, I don’t enough to argue.

I do know most Doctors think anything that hasn’t been Patented and making a lot of money is Baloney. Chemo is successful in extending life beyond 5 years at well below a 5% success rate. That’s baloney, but they keep slicing and slicing.

The Side Effects of more drugs than not are worse than the symptom they are treating, but ‘here you go”…. And they are going to crap on a Food…which at the least shouldn’t blow out your liver. Everyone should do their own research and triple check anything a doctor says. 6-8 years+ to be a Doctor and only a few hours of instruction on Nutrition. “Make Food your medicine and Medicine your Food”. “First Do No Harm”. The Majority of Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath and then forget his most important Instructions, though I do think it is improving.

If this product works for you and you are not experiencing any major side effects than the benefits outweighs the risk. Simple concept they taught in medical school. Dr. SC

About 40 years ago, I worked for a company that sold supplies to businesses.
Two products they sold were commercial polymer floor finishes.
The “Tuff” floor finish sold for $8.95 per gallon; “Super-Tuff” was $10.95 per gallon. “Super-Tuff” was usually sold to customers unsatisfied with the “Tuff” product. After trying both products, customers often told us the expensive product was better. The ONLY difference between the two products was the $1 per gallon bonus in the salesman’s commission, and the labels on the 55 gallon drums.
The company’s wholesale cost was about seventeen cents per gallon…

The best ‘juice’ there is is apple cidar vinegar, it will cost you about $2 for 3 months, i.e. it’s nearly free on a daily basis from your grocery. Here’s a comment at earthclinic.com discussions – ’12/21/2010: Bill from San Fernando, Luzon, Philippines: “Here is some research which confirms the positive effects of using malate(ACV) and magnesium to help cure Fibromyalgia(FM) and is yet more confirmation as to how alkalizing with ACV and baking soda(forming malates) plus taking Magnesium(as Mag Chloride or Mag Citrate or Mag Gluconate) can help FM.’ In the meantime you should be taking heavy doses of vitamin C, such as 3-5 teaspoons a day of crystals at a health food store (or more up to bowel tolerance, spread throut the day), see doctoryourself.com. Good luck!

      • Glenn says:

Another (very experienced) nutritionist on earthclinic.com also recommends these in addition to apple cidar vinegar, for those with pain –
’11/12/2011: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: “Well basically that just resolved pain temporarily but if you want a more permanent solution we have to look at the cause. Rheumatoid arthritis, based on my own findings, is of a fungal nature, and thus is treated accordingly.

The simplest of the remedies is topical application of DMSO with castor oil (say 70/30 or for simplicity 50/50) to the area (such as the knees) apply as often as you like. This works better than other topical application as it kills the fungus mostly localized but DMSO is a carrier vehicle so it goes deeper.

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is the other one that seems to work. That is taken at least (you may need to take more) 1000 mg x 6, as the starting dose. They kill the fungus.

Borax is a cheaper version but is required minerals anyway. For instance Israel consumes from their water supply alone 10 mg of borax (boron) and has one of the lowest incidence rates for arthritis. Basically borax kills the fungus, but are essential in mammals, it is a stomach poison of insects since their digestive systems rely on fungi, while the mammal’s relies on bacteria (the good ones), as long as pH of the intestines is generally alkaline, or else we get bad bacteria.

Magnesium slowly reduces the arthritis, the best form is a topical form, the magnesium chloride which can be topically applied, It might work better if DMSO is added, but haven’t got around to experiment with this formula as the clients are quite happy with the mentioned one and are not interested in pursuing any further! (LOL).’
And he adds this for fibro/lupus –
’08/10/2011: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: “I would just try something simple first, H2O2 3% one capful in one liter of water as my drinking water, and perhaps add borax 1/4 teaspoon too. The lysine is taken hourly four a day with one more dose before sleep to help with the deficiencies. This should adequately address the lupus and fibromyalgia. This should not do harm to the eyes as it gives oxygenation. For pain, I would try allopurinol 100 mg before sleep and in morning, the supplement somehow has a positive reduction in some of the pain, but not by mechanism of uric acid.

        Ted”

CGMonger, I am a medical resident in training, not a rheumatologist or a board certified physican and so I will try to answer your question. To the best of my knowledge, fibromyalgia is not an inflammatory state, but is rather a defect in pain sensation/sensitization, and many experts believe it to be a psychiatric issue rather than a physical issue. In actuality, the pathophysiology of fibromyalgia is largely uknown. Unlike in rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, polymyositis, dermatomyositis, or mixed connective tissue disorder, a marker of inflammation called the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) is NOT elevated in fibromyalgia. In fact treatment does not even include anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen or naproxen or celecoxib. Treatment is usually attempted with medications such as anti-depressants (i.e. amitryptaline) and anti-seizure meds (i.e. pregabalin). I’m not sure to what extent this particular product would help in your particular situation.

This is about the product I have been taking for 8 years and has been around for 28 years, NOT Nopalea……….this is a friend of mine…..Woman with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Gets Her Life Back with “Liquid Organic Product”

Hi, my name is Rozanne, and I would like to share my story with you in hopes that it might help those of you who are having struggles with your own health.

Before I got sick I was a very energetic young women with a very busy lifestyle. I enjoyed outdoor sports such as jogging, horseback riding, tennis, softball, and swimming just to mention a few. I was also a very busy mom of 4 very active children which were all involved in school activities , football, soccer, baseball, swimming meets, dancing, skating, and gymnastics. Just like many of you moms out there I was on the go constantly, hardly ever a moment of rest, and I LOVED IT.—life was fun, busy and exciting

That all came to a halt when at the age of 34 I started having severe pain in my extremities. It took several years of going from doctor to doctor to figure out what was going on. Meanwhile, I developed allergies, sinus infections, asthma, and caught every virus that went around. I cried all the time, I had no energy and was in terrible pain, which was very stressful because I still had my children to get to school and shuffle to their many activities. Life was looking pretty bleak

By 1986 the older children were gown but, the younger ones were still at home suffering through having a sick mom, and it was very hard on them and I was feeling like a total failure

Finally, in 1987 I found a Rheumatologist that diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue. From that point on it seemed like my body was bound to be sick. They called it Auto-Immune disease

My blood work was looking bad and over the next few years I was diagnosed with high cholesterol over 400, high triglycerides , thyroid disease, diabetes, arthritis, nueropathy, IBS, and acid reflux

I’m not sure why, but, my memory was failing and sometimes I couldn’t understand simply things that people were saying, they just didn’t make sense to me anymore. It became very hard to engage in a conversation with anyone. It became impossible to work any longer as by this time in life I worked with the public and I felt like a complete idiot because of brain fog. In 1994 I was put on disability and my doctor said that I would never be well enough to return to work. I felt like I was going home to die. It had become very hard to get out of bed in the mornings due to stiffness and the pain I experienced every day was horrible. I walked with a cane or walker many times and had to use an electric wheelchair when grocery shopping, (how embarrassing).. Sometime the pain was so bad that I could not leave my home for days or even weeks.

Loneliness started to seep into my life along with a since of worthlessness. I no longer had the energy to be a good friend or mother because I had nothing left to give. It was as if the blood had been drained from my body and all I had left was pain. For several year now my life had been reduced to going from doctor to doctor and trying new medications and I’m sure you’ll understand when I say I was feeling like a walking pharmacy.

By 2010 I had no desire to continue this way of life so I started praying for a miracle. The miracle came in the form of a sweet young lady who said she knew of something that might help me, and I listened intently. She told me about a liquid whole food product called “Liquid Organic Product”. It’s a proprietary blend of 9 sea vegetables and organic Aloe Vera. It’s the only place I know of where we can find all the vitamins and minerals our body needs to heal itself. Thankfully, my body responded rather quickly to the “Liquid Organic Product”.

Within a few weeks I noticed energy seeping back into my body, and within just a few more weeks my pain had subsided a great deal and is now tolerable. My cholesterol came down 25 points in just 3 months. I have not had to use my cane, walker or use a wheelchair at the super market since starting on “Liquid Organic Product”. I have not had an allergy flair up this year, I no longer have to use my in-haler for asthma and, happy to say I have had no sinus infections since using the product. My husband is thankful that I am well enough now to cook meals and clean my own house once again. Yahoo!!! I haven’t even satisfied my insurance deductible yet this year of $1500 and it’s September already. Usually my deductible is met by January or February every year.

Ask me if I am enjoying not having to go to the doctors office every week. I love my life once again and expect my health to continue to improve over the next few years with the help of “Liquid Organic Product”. I love this amazing product and will continue to use it the rest of my life

Believe me when I say, “Good health is not expensive, it’s priceless”

Thank you for taking time to read my story. My hope is that it will bless your life in some way.

After researching this a bit the same benefits can be found in swiss chard and prickly pear. I also found that the same active ingredient can be purchased from the likes of Puritan vitamins and Swanson vitamins. You can read about the actual element which contains these antioxidants at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betalain. I just looked out on the web and you can get 180 pills of prickly pear for 9.99. This would give you at least 45 days for 9.99. A fraction of the cost.

If you look up Prickly Pear in the wikipedia online you will find that the Prickly Pear is another name for the Napales cactus. Marketers just used the lesser known name you dont see in the stores or farmers market for the fruit of this cacti. Thumbs up to those who research before buying every new FAD. Just like the Cindy Crawford face cream from the moracle fruit. SOD can be purchased in a spray bottle. Google it.

I haven’t tried this product but had similar symptoms to yours with tart cherry juice. It has amazing anti-inflammatory properties and my arthritis pain was basically gone after drinking the juice for a week. However, within a month, I had such stomach pain that my doctor ordered a gastroscopy to rule out an ulcer. You are right to be concerned about the acids in most fruit juices and this is exactly the side effect I was looking for. The “medical” websites fail to mention it (same for cherry juice).

Not all supplements, medications, vitamins and wellness drinks work for all people. Some may work for you and some don’t work for others. Some may not work for you but some may work for others.

Nopalea did work for me and for my mom but for some perhaps, it didn’t. How would one know if it can for them too? They just need to try it to experience and feel if there would be any difference.

The product I have been taking for 8 years has been around for 28 years……Spherosytosis, Eczema, Hormone Issues, Digestion

I am raising a family of three children, including twins and one with a hereditary blood disorder (spherosytosis). She requires some special attention of her own, and this creates stresses of daily routine. I was also battling a few personal issues. Life in general was getting me down. I was suffering from adrenal burn out, and was certainly on my way to chronic fatigue. Each day at about 11am I would hit a flat point- no more energy, no more stamina, and the same at about 3pm – “three thirty-itis” as its called, a nap was calling, but as any mother knows, this was not a reality. Early nights were a necessity, and after 8 months of illness, chickenpox, flu, viruses, gastro ect, I’d hit an all time low. Not sure what came first but my hormone levels were now very imbalanced I was also suffering with headaches, digestion problems, anxiety and eczema for the time since childhood

After taking “Liquid Organic Product”, I felt instantly more energized and happier. By the third day my sleep had improved tremendously, my head felt clear almost as though I’d been existing under a cloud of fog and it had lifted. On the same day I also found that my eczema that had been giving me on-going grief was all but gone! Now I don’t have flat times in my day, no more headaches, no more tired days or early nights regardless of interrupted sleep, no more digestion or hormonal issues – I feel great

My partner Andrew also has spherosytosis and suffers with irritable bowel syndrome. He’s always wrestled with low energy/ mood and many digestion issues such as abdominal pains, bloating ect. Since being on “Liquid Organic Product” his energy has improved greatly, no longer running to the toilet after a ‘less than perfect meal choice’ no more abdominal pains, he feels happier and full of energy. On “Liquid Organic Product”, afternoon naps and lazy days are a thing of the past

Our daughter Alison inherited spherosytosis. She lacks energy in most activities and has always been mildly anemic despite diet and other recommended supplements. Carrying her was factored into our everyday lives especially since our eldest daughter’s school rests on the top of a hill! Since being on “Liquid Organic Product”, Ali’s energy levels and her appearance improved dramatically, now she is able to race her sisters up the hill. What a turn around! Her latest blood results came back near normal for the first time ever,. I was in shock – I didn’t think I would ever see her blood levels so high. It was miraculous.

All my children have benefited greatly from “Liquid Organic Product”. They are all feeling energized, are happier and best of all, much healthier. “Liquid Organic Product” was the missing piece of the puzzle. I could not be more grateful that a product such as this exists!

To start with, let me say ….. the ONLY reason we took these beginning pictures were to document what was happening to me that my doctors could not diagnose. We thought I may have to go to Mayo Clinic or something like it. Although the picture doesn’t show the same lymph-filled blisters on my face as were on my hands/forearms due to the light reflection or whatever reason, they were as bad. Four nights after these pictures were taken Marshall had to take me to the ER as everything internally and externally from my abdomen up began to swell dangerously, and my hand, knee, ankle, and toe joints began to twist and swell. The blisters had spread from my finger tips up to my hairline. It was scary as well as excruciatingly painful!! We didn’t discover Life Force until a year later, so I was on drugs and pain medication to ‘control’ the undiagnosed affliction. I was about 90-95% disabled. Shortly before Marshall was approached by Terri Terrell with “Company X”, I was finally diagnosed with Reactive Arthritis, also known as Reiter’s Syndrome, a severe autoimmune disorder. Simply put, a wicked cousin of Psoratic Arthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis. The rest of the story is in the attached document.

The picture with my Mom was after we’d both been on “Liquid Organic Product” and “Liquid Calcium/Mineral Product” for about 3 years. Although she never got the use of her legs back, Mom’s quality of life improved dramatically. Her doctor was able to take her off 4 of her 13 (!) prescription meds. I had no scarring from the blisters which was amazing. We know my health recovery as well as my Mom’s improved health quality was due to the incredible nutrients in these products and the essential trace minerals which act as necessary ‘spark plugs’ for our bodies to assimilate vitamins. All of these empower our bodies to address and/or heal their own issues the way God designed them to do. We are very thankful the Hillman’s never gave up sharing these great products as a result of Gerri’s dramatic health recovery!!

      Auto Immune Disorder Recovery

March, 2003 after years of intense stress and living on coffee for energy, I developed oozing, burning rashes on my hands that spread up my forearms. I sought natural help but was directed to a medical doctor as it continued to worsen. He prescribed steroid creams and antihistamines which was like pouring gasoline on fire. His solution was, … “learn to live with it.” That’s when I became a warrior for my own health and life!!

We continued searching natural medicine as the oozing rash and intense pain spread up my body and all my limbs began to swell. I returned to other medical specialists who did skin biopsies and more tests with no results. The nerve endings in my body felt like I was being burned by steam, the muscle and bone crushing pain was excruciating and totally draining. I had no energy or stamina. Much of the time I had to be totally isolated due to the steroid drugs striping my immune system. From this body stress I developed severe Reactive Arthritis (Reiter’s Syndrome), a wicked cousin to Rheumatoid Arthritis. Very crippling. The drugs were almost as bad as the crippling disease. They did save my life, but I couldn’t think, felt totally helpless, and was about 90-95% disabled. Life was a very painful blur!

My husband was approached with the “Company X” business Dec., 2004. In Feb., 2005, began “Liquid Organic Product” slowly as my body was in crisis. After about 4 months I began realizing the rash was decreasing, and strength and stamina was slowly returning. I added “Liquid Calcium/Mineral Product” and it seemed to work in a synergistic action with the “Liquid Organic Product”. After 4 more months I added the “Pao D’Arco Product” to aid in the reduction of inflammation. By the end of Nov. I was able to wean myself from the last strong drug that was affecting my heart as a side effect. Six months later I took the last pain medication except for occasional flair ups. The inflammation as well as the crippling and deforming arthritis were slowly diminishing, and best of all, so was the pain!!! My life was nearly back to normal from external appearances. I continued to heal from the inside out for the next few years as I used the products.

Because my body was totally able to digest, absorb and utilize these liquid, cold processed micro and macro nutrients, phytonutrients and minerals, it was able to begin healing itself. Now in 2011, I continue taking the “Company X” products and adhere to an alkaline diet about 80% of the time as compared to the original 100% of the time. I’m restored 95 to 98% and living a VERY ACTIVE and normal life!

I tried the omega fish oil pills for months, no results. Pills generally are not good (chewables are better), I even take the vitamin C crystals, they can cure a cold the same day if taken hourly. You want natural omega 3 which is in the hemp seeds or hearts at the health food stores, they worked right away for me; 2 tablepoons a day will only set you back about $10 a month! For $2 you can buy a small bottle of apple cidar vinegar that will likely last about 3 months, i.e. it’s nearly free sitting there at the grocery. The vinegar is acidic but the body converts it to alkaline. Our bodies are getting too much omega 6 foods which are inflammatory so the omega 3 reduces the optimal ratio of 6/3 omegas of 3 to 1 from the average meal of 20 or so to 1. Similarly the vinegar helps convert our acidic blood (ph) to alkaline and also is an antioxident helping to reduce inflammatory free radicals once autoimmune diseases set in. Finally the most important vitamin for chronic disease is B (B3 for arthritis) and since we only get processed meat and most foods now everyone needs a supplement (such as B100 complex; it can be a pill but C will help absorb it) or a super multi vitamin unless you live on a farm (another what $5 a month?). Going vegetarian is not a cure, the produce has lost most of it’s vitamins by the time it gets to the groceries, but better than processed; it just won’t cure arthritis once you’ve got it. Good luck.

      Hi Christian Taylor,

I’m 47 years old. I had psoriasis on the back of my my scalp, and had the associated mirrored pain in both my thumb joints. The condition developed over a few years – itchy, flaky skin, which seemed like sores that I could pick at. Yours sounds worse than mine, but perhaps my experience can help:

I tried applying essential oils. No help. I tried Betadine antiseptic cream. No help. I asked a few doctors and basically was told it was typical psoriasis and was given a cortisol lotion and a weak smile. The lotion didn’t help. I thought I’d have to live with it.

Then recently I went to see a very broadminded doctor who told me to use “IONITIL T”, a shampoo based on 5% coal tar solution with 2% salicylic acid. I thought he must be a quack – I’ve used coal tar solution before to relieve hives (“Pinetarsol”), so I thought this must be a stupid idea for relief only.
But when I saw it contained salycilic acid I figured it was different to other coal tar shampoos. So I tried it, and after only 2 weeks the condition was noticeably reduced, and after 3 weeks my psoriasis was totally gone. I couldn’t believe it. Really gone. Finally!!!!

Now, months later it hasn’t come back, and it’s now my standard shampoo to make sure the psoriasis doesn’t come back. I do not use regular shampoos or soaps now – AT ALL. I even use it as a body wash in the shower if I need it, instead of soap.

I hope you try this and that it helps you. IONITIL T is made by Galderma Australia so I don’t know if it’s available in your country. If it’s a problem for you let me know and I’ll send you a bottle. The label says it’s for use in the control of seborrhoea and as an aid in the treatment of psoriasis. For me it worked beautifully.

As I said I’m happy to send you a bottle if you can’t find it in your country, otherwise if you need to contact the company:
The label has a contact number: 1800 800 765 (within Australia)

Yes, I have experienced complete pain relief from Reumofan Plus. I have severe Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis and have had basically no life due to pain and inflammation. A friend told me about this pill and gave me 4 tablets to try. Within 12 hours I had no pain and felt terrific for the first time in years…I am not exaggerating!
It is a product made in Mexico at Riger Natural Laboratories and, of course, our FDA has put a warning not to use it. I read as much as I could find and our government tells us not to use it but they fail to tell us why we shouldn’t. This is like a miracle pill! I don’t sell it or get anything from writing this but I’m telling my factual experience…check it out for yourself. It is not even expensive. They recommend starting with 1 pill every 12 hours but within one or two days you don’t need it that often. I take a pill or 1/2 pill every other day. No side effects from anyone I know! Check it out, it will give you a new life, moving…sleeping…living.

I have been taking this drink for 2 months, taking almost 6 ounces a day sometimes two times a day…trying to cure inflammation and resulting arthritis. I also have diverticulitis which is an inflammation in the diverticula in your intestines and I was hoping to quell this pain also. I have begun to see an improvement in my diverticulitis but not in my arthritis so much. I was having diverticulitis pain almost every day and the pain would be so bad that I would have to take a pain pill, which I do not want to take because it slows down the gut, which is not good for me. I have seen another brand of Nopal juice that is said to NOT BE DILUTED like Nopalea. I have just seen this and would like to know what others have seen or know about this. It is made by Desert Bloom company. They say that their product is PURE Nopal Juice Extract. They say that Nopalea is 90% water??? Theirs is not and they say that you only have to take 1 oz. once or twice a day since it so strong.
I would like to know what others know about this. The bottle is $(( instead of $39 like the Nopalea, but your bottle would last longer due to the smaller required doses.
Thanks for any intelligent replies, I do not wish to hear from any nasty sounding naysayers.

To repsond -the apple cidar vinegar formula is 1 or 2 tablespoons in a glass of water with a dab of as much liquid honey as you want (I jus take a quater tespoon, if you like it cold let it melt for maybe 1/2 hour). Creative people might want to just sprinkle it over salad as a salad dressing but you might not do enough if it stresses your throat. Since it also causes some bowel stress you need to adjust slowly so one would start just once a day and if you have joint damage you could move it up to 2-4 times a day slowly after a few weeks. This vinegar can also cure migrains, prevent food poisoning, cure colitis and celiacs which is is also due to ‘leaky gut syndrome’. There are ACV pills but they gave me acid reflux and I went back to the natural with the honey (which is a natural antacid better than any pill! I would get off all pills, they kill eventually!) In the case of severe or long term arthritis (or even MS) you may need a combination of solutions such as taking vitamin B3 -100mg (or B100 complex which costs more) again 1-3 times a day with meals. As it can stress the liver a little you could take one cup of coffee or cranberry juice a day, depending on what else is wrong with you! Hemp seeds are also excellent at the health food stores! Good luck all!

      Dear Susie
I am sure that you did a lot of research for your illness and hoping to find the best for your body. When you find Nopal, that’s the evidence of how much you are serious about your current illness and overall health. Yes, Nopal was used for native people as medicine and food as well. Modern life style and foods we eat are ever more adding toxic in our body causing all kind of inflammations and organ failures just as toxic in river kills its ecosystem. Nopal was researched and discovered long data of health benefits (you can find more research data in desertbloom.net). DesertBloom co. researched decades to extract 100% and making sure all of the Nopal benefits are absorbable by your body(for more info. in technically successful achievements found in the web). DesertBloom guarantees the quality 100%. Yes, one bottle is cost more than Nopalea but it outlast for the same matching price not to mention of the quality you gets from Desert Bloom Nopal.

Susie, I have tried the Desert Bloom Nopal Juice Extract. I was very disappointed. I was taking it for pain in my hips and for energy. The fatigue problem I think I have narrowed it down to a thyroid problem, that I hope my Dr. will test further. But I didn’t notice any changes in how I was feeling. I also had a hard time drinking it. To me it tastes awful. The only way I could get it down was mixing it with cranberry juice(which they recommend) and a couple of spoons of flavored yogurt. I still have about 1/4 of a bottle left, but I probably won’t finish it. That being said, it might work better for someone else. Good luck in whatever you do!

The FDA hates natural cured that actually work. they want people stuck on medicine that only treats so they can pay more on the drug for a refill. That product actually worked but the FDA sued them and got rid of their management team and replace them with new people and a new CEO and changed the ingredients of it.

I know how he feels and you want to try anything that sounds hopeful to cure your disease, but remember, if it sounds too good to be true it usually is. Talk & have trust in your doctor.

Betalains were first found in a plant that is known scientifically as “Beta vulgaris.” The word “betalain” is derived from the name of the Beta vulgaris plant. The Beta vulgaris plant has as much or more betalain than Nopal cactus, particularly in its root structure. So, why do the infomercials promote the exotic Nopal cactus? Because “Beta vulgaris” plants are otherwise known as beets. I don’t think anybody would pay $30-$40 for a bottle of beet juice.
